6G-PHYSEC

The 6G-PHYSEC COST Action CA22168 will bring together members of the Action for a two-day series of Working Group meetings and workshop activities in Ancona, Italy, on 28–29 September 2026.

The event will provide an opportunity for participants to exchange recent developments, discuss ongoing activities across the Working Groups, coordinate future work, and strengthen collaboration within the 6G-PHYSEC community. The programme will combine Working Group and coordination discussions with workshop sessions dedicated to current research topics related to physical-layer security, trustworthiness, and resilience in future 6G systems.

The meeting will be hosted by Università Politecnica delle Marche in Ancona and will take place in hybrid format.

Getting to Ancona

  • By Air: The nearest airport is Ancona International Airport “Raffaello Sanzio”, approximately 19 km from Ancona city center. Information on direct destinations to and from Ancona is available here:

    Travelers may also consider flying to Bologna or Rome, both of which offer onward connections to Ancona by train or bus.

  • By Train: Ancona’s railway station is well connected across Italy and is just 1 km from the city center, with taxi and bus services to local hotels and attractions.  Train schedules and tickets can be found via:

  • By Bus: Long-distance bus connections to Ancona, including services from Rome and Bologna, are available through:

  • By Ship: The Port of Ancona is located close to the city center and offers ferry connections to several destinations across the Adriatic.
  • By Car: Ancona is accessible via the A14/E55 motorway, with exits at Ancona Nord and Ancona Sud.
