6G-PHYSEC

Workshop on Physical Layer Security for Wireless Networks

Date: 14th May, 2025, 9 AM - 1 PM

Venue: Dresden Convention Center (Messe Dresden), Germany

We are pleased to welcome participants to the upcoming 6G-PHYSEC Workshop, co-located with the 6G Summit Dresden (https://5gsummit.org/dresden/), a technical and industrial event. The 6G Summit Dresden is part of the Dresden Communications Festival (https://dccf.events/), where leading scientists, industry representatives, and politicians meet to jointly shape the future of mobile communications. This event will take place in the vibrant city of Dresden this May.

This gathering will bring together leading experts, researchers, and practitioners from various fields to explore innovative strategies and advancements in securing communication systems, with a particular focus on the physical layer. Over the course of our sessions, we will engage in stimulating discussions, share cutting-edge research findings, and collaborate on future initiatives aimed at enhancing the resilience and security of information transmission in an increasingly interconnected world.

The event aims to foster discussions and showcase the latest advances in physical-layer security, including one keynote, one panel, and one poster session, focusing on, but not limited to, the following topics:

  • Secure wireless communications
  • Secret key generation
  • Eavesdropping, jamming attacks, side-channel attacks, and defense mechanisms
  • Hardware security and physical unclonable functions (PUFs)
  • Information-theoretic security models and approaches for the post-quantum era
  • Radio frequency fingerprint identification
  • Physical layer authentication
  • Emerging trends in physical layer cryptography
